Tip 5: Push the Benefits!

When doing marketing never forget to push the benefits, the main thing that you audience want to know is what’s in it for them. You message should be personal to the individual reading it. If in doubt just spell out the benefits, smart witty jargon is useless if people don’t know why they should buy.

Image Group supports the efforts of DSGI Business in Sport Relief ‘08

The Image Group, a large-format printing business based in Manchester is donating their services in the form of full colour PVC vinyl banners to promote DSGI Business’s role in Sport Relief ‘08, where they will be handling the donation lines. DSGI will be using their call center in Bury to manage the donation lines on March 14th.

Image Group’s marketing director Kevin Rowe stated that Sports Relief is an epic night of cooperation between business and individuals, and that Image Group was delighted to support the efforts of DSGI in handling the donation lines. He also stated it was Image Group’s hope that the banners would serve to spread the word about DSGI’s generous contribution to the Sports Relief ‘08 efforts.

Sport Relief ‘08 is to be televised from 7pm to 1am on BBC One, and DSGI’s center in Bury has 80 staff committed to handling the donation lines. The event will be live and includes celebrities and sport stars competing in several sporting challenges, attempting to raise money.

Friday nights can be a slow time for DSGI Bury’s call center, however when they open the lines for donations at 6pm on March 14th it will be anything but slow.

DSGI Business’ Managing Director, Jerry Roest, stated that their Bury call center and staff are fully equipped to handle thousands of incoming calls, and that they were looking forward to the challenge in taking as many donation calls as possible. He was sure the office would be quite excited on the night of the event as they get caught up in the spirit of Sport Relief.

Comic Relief leads the Sport Relief event to raise money to aid people both in the UK and some of the poorest countries in the world.

Image Group is also supporting the Sport Relief efforts with a small team headed by the graphic designer responsible for the charity banners, Natalie Burrows, which will be in a one mile run in Manchester on Sunday to raise money for Sport Relief ‘08.
